Bayero University, Kano, BUK emerged 3rd in the 2016 edition of National Mathematics Competition. Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has emerged 3rd during this year‟s National Mathematics Competition, which took place from 3rd to 9th April, 2016. This was disclosed by the Head of Mathematics Department, Dr. Bashir Ali. A letter with reference number BUK/SCI/MTH/NMC/020, dated, 4th May, 2016 noted that the competition, which was organised by the National Mathematics Centre, Abuja, was an annual event being participated by students across Nigerian Universities.
