Workers and students of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) ,Ile- Ife in Osun State on Friday jubilated following the Federal Government’s dissolution of the institution’s governing council and the suspension of the process of the selection of a new Vice Chancellor. The dissolution of the governing council headed Prof. Ndoma Egba was said to have been announced on the Nigerian Television Authority late night Thursday. The Public Relations Officer of the OAU, Mr. Biodun Olanrewaju, also confirmed the dissolution in Osogbo on Friday.
